Electroencephalography (EEG)
EEG is a non-invasive test that measures the brain's electrical activity to diagnose and monitor neurological conditions like epilepsy and seizures. Small electrodes are gently placed on your scalp, and you may be asked to perform tasks like deep breathing or watching flashing lights during the procedure.
Types
Polysomnography (PSG)
Polysomnography (PSG) is a comprehensive sleep study that records brain activity, breathing, and other physiological functions to diagnose sleep disorders such as sleep apnea and insomnia. This extensive study requires you to spend one night in the hospital.

Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS)
NCS assess nerve function by measuring electrical signals, helping diagnose conditions like neuropathy, carpal tunnel syndrome, and other nerve disorders.

Sleep Screen (Apnea Test)
A sleep screen test is specifically designed to investigate the presence and severity of sleep apnea. This is a home-based sleep study. During your appointment, we will provide you with a device that you will take home and use while you sleep. Please note that the device needs to be returned the following morning.

Intraoperative Neuromonitoring (IONM)
IONM enhances surgical safety by monitoring the nervous system in real time to protect critical neural structures, reduce nerve damage risk, and improve outcomes during procedures like spinal and brain surgeries.

Vagus nerve stimulation (VNS)
VNS is a therapy that uses a device to deliver electrical impulses to the vagus nerve, helping manage conditions like epilepsy and depression by regulating brain activity and improving neurological function.
